How to get on-line help
|
Type F1 you will get the appropriate help section for the dialog box that is open. All menu items display descriptive text in the status bar (at the bottom of the application window) when highlighted. Buttons in the toolbar also display descriptive text in the status bar. To view the description without activating the button: move the mouse cursor over the button, press down on the left key and hold, read the status bar, move the mouse off the button, only now release the left key. And you can use the help menu to display the familiar windows help application with search and index functions.
