Step 1 Select all of the boundary features. In the example below, 11 boundaries were selected.

Step 2 With menu File Export\Feature(s), select Softree-Terrain ASCII Format and press the Options button. The dialog shown below will appear.

Step 3 Enable Summary format (area,length…) as shown above. Press the Add/Remove button and the dialog shown below will appear.

Step 4 Remove all of the Items from the Selected side except the two shown in the Figure above. Press OK three times.

Step 5 Give the file a name. It will be exported as an *.acs file. Press OK.

Step 6 Run a spreadsheet program and open up the *.asc file. Your spreadsheet package should show the area of each of the polygons as shown below.
